Understand The One Of The Worlds Most Popular Poker Game - 5 Card Draw Poker

Five Card Draw Poker is the poker game that a lot of people grew up playing around their kitchen table. In this poker game,
It is the poker players goal is to make the best five card hand possible after one draw. Just Like hold em poker, it's a poker game
that's easy to learn, but can be difficult to master.
Rules for 5 Card Draw Poker
Poker Draw games are played with blinds, just like poker flop games. Each poker player is dealt five face-down poker cards. The
first poker player after the big blind has the option to fold, call, or raise. This action will continue clockwise around the poker table
until betting is complete for that round.

Once the first round of betting is complete, there will be a draw. Each poker player selects which poker cards (if any) they wish to
discard by selecting / clicking on them. By clicking two times on a poker card that you have planned to discard, you will remove it
from the poker card discard set. Discarding continues around the poker table clockwise. When it is your turn to discard, you
press the button to confirm you wish to discard the poker cards you have selected.

5 Card Draw Poker - The Sequence Of Action

After the first draw, there is another round of poker table betting, beginning with the first active poker player to the left of the
dealer button. So the sequence of poker action is:-

1. Five cards dealt to each poker player at the poker table
2. Betting round #1, beginning with poker player to left of big blind
3. Draw
4. Betting round #2, beginning with poker player to left of dealer button
5. Showdown (if required)
In draw poker games, it is possible for more poker cards to be needed than what are remaining in the poker deck. In this case,
the poker cards will be reshuffled, and poker play continues using the new poker card deck.

Showdown - Determining the 5 Card Draw Poker Winner

The poker player with the best five card poker hand will win the table pot amount. After the table pot amount is awarded to the
poker player with the best poker hand, a new game of Five Card Draw poker will be ready to be played again. If two or more
poker players have poker hands that are of the same value, the table pot amount will equally split among them. There is no
precedence of suit for the purposes of awarding the table pot amount.

5 Card Draw Poker - The Joker
The poker players will always be alerted as to whether the joker is in use in the 5 Card Draw Poker game. The joker can be used
only as an ace, or to complete a straight, flush, or straight flush. If the joker is used to make a flush, it will be the highest card of
the flush not present in the poker hand. Five aces is the best possible hand (for example:- four aces and joker).
